Northampton Borough Council says it doesn't own the Eleanor Cross in the town, despite the monument being listed on its own website as one of its assets.
Northampton Borough Council says it doesn't own the Eleanor Cross in the town, despite the monument being listed on its own website as one of its assets. Nonetheless, the Borough Council says it will carry out work to deal with the poor state of repair of the 13th Century monument.
