Prime Minister Theresa May has started the official Brexit process in a letter to the EU.

What does this mean for the UK?

Maria Miller, MP for Basingstoke who wanted to remain in the EU said: "We have to accept [the decision] and get on with it.

"The Prime Minister needs to deliver on issues like the rights of EU nationals."

John Redwood, MP for Wokingham has wanted to leave since he was 20 years old: "I want to get on and do so many more good things for our country and our area.

"I want to spend the all that money we currently give to the EU on our priorities."
