EAST YORKSHIRE BUSINESSMAN CALLS FOR MORE AWARENESS ABOUT DYSLEXIA
Howard Duckworth's calls for more awareness about dyslexia come as the British Dyslexia Association tells Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Humberside that they're seeing an increased number of enquiries relating to discrimination issues. Dyslexia is a recognised difficulty under the Equality Act 2010. The Department for Work and Pensions says there's still more to be done and a new approach has been set out through the Work and Health Green Paper. This includes a new Personal Support Package that offers more tailored help, increasing the number of disability employment advisors in job centres and working even more closely with businesses. Here he speaks to our Political Reporter Sarah Sanderson.
