麻豆约拍

The animators say: We chose the audio clip from the 麻豆约拍 listening project called 鈥淣o Box to Tick鈥� which involved a discussion of two people who identify as 鈥榞enderqueer鈥� and the way they experience being so. We decided to choose this due to our own experiences and concerns with gender identity, gender representation and expression - looking into other people鈥檚 experience with this subject gave us more awareness and education, in a world where the idea of gender is focused more on a binary, rather than a spectrum. From this we created an animation, which visually reflected their story and discussion.

The design of the characters featured in the animation were based on the concept of gender fluidity and gender being a spectrum, this is reflected by the gender neutral figures and the rainbow colours rather than solid colours.
