Crimes involving dogs - which include attacks on members of the public - have risen by almost 25% in the last year in Wales. Figures obtained by the Jason Mohammad programme under a Freedom of Information request to Wales' four police forces show the number of recorded crimes increased from 510 in 2015 to 634 in 2016.

Gareth Pritchard, Deputy Chief Constable of North Wales Police, outlined the force's concerns - including the remarkable locations where people are buying and selling dogs.
