Hawaii Files Travel Ban Lawsuit
A federal judge in Hawaii has allowed the state’s Attorney General to submit an amended lawsuit previously lodged against the president’s first, unsuccessful ban.
The Trump administration's second attempt at a travel ban may be heading the same way as the first. The state of Hawaii which says the revised ban, signed by the president on Monday, violates the US Constitution, has been allowed to update its earlier legal complaint. There's also the question of visa restrictions and we hear from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Justin Rowlatt who's been looking at the impact on India's vast software industry.
Proposed fracking projects in the south-eastern state of Tamil Nadu in India have prompted large and sustained protests from environmentalists, student supporters and Tamil political groups. We hear from Arun Kaliraja, a member of the May 17 Movement which campaigns for Tamil civil rights in India and Sri Lanka.
