Reading FC: Stam wants to right wrongs ahead of Wolves
The Royals boss Jaap Stam wants to learn from the two defeats to top sides last week as the Royals lost to Huddersfield and Brighton away from home.
He told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Berkshire that "looking back at the two losses, in the Huddersfield game we should have had more, and it doesn't happen...In the Brighton game we lost three nil, to three goals on the break...basically those goals are given away."
Stam also thinks that the players need to learn how to "stay in there at the top of the league", to work "under pressure, play in big games, against better teams, with a lot of quality".
Ultimately, though, Stam thinks that some Reading fans need to remember where the team finished in the last two seasons.
"Everybody...needs to be realistic and not talking about going up and promotion, especially not straight away."
