Actor's bookshop to close after 188 years
The Samuel French bookshop, a London theatreland institution, is blaming a crippling 200% rent rise for its decision to shut up shop in April. All book selling activity will move online, and the company’s offices will move near to Euston. Alex Ritson reports.
