Lice threat to Scotland's salmon farms
Scotland's salmon farms are facing growing problems from sea lice.
Annual figures for one of the industry's biggest producers shows falling output and rising costs, largely due to the parasites which have grown resistant to chemical treatments.
In one case, on Skye last year, a new system for removing lice with warm water resulted in nearly 100,000 salmon being killed accidentally.
