"There are moments in life that define us"
Jonathan Fisher is a writer and self confessed sci-fi fanatic from Lisburn.
Twenty-five years ago, out of the blue he suffered a life threatening medical emergency known as an Addisonian crisis which left him in a coma for months and damaged his brain. He now lives with severe Addison's disease.
Against all the odds, Jonathan Fisher has made a remarkable recovery to the point that he's has published two books - a real triumph as he has considerable speech impairment and difficulty using his hands to operate a keyboard and uses his electric wheelchair to get around.
Here he talks to John Toal about his first book and memoir, August Always.
