Council Tax in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead is going up by just under 4%
They say most of the extra money will be put towards looking after older residents.
Councillor MJ Saunders:
"Average Band D Council tax goes from about Β£907 to Β£916, and the Adult Social Care Levy goes from Β£18 to Β£46. So that's a total next year of Β£961.
"Over the last eight years, we've increased council tax by less than inflation.
"I'd rather leave the money in the pockets of my residents and take it off them when I need it."
