The death - and funeral - of former president Rafsanjani propel Iran into a new era.
More than two million people thronged the streets of Teheran for the funeral of one of the pillars of the Iranian revolution in 1979, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Many of them were supporters of the opposition -- frowned on by the current clerical authorities, but people who looked to Mr Rafsanjani for support. His death changes much in Iran.
