World Bank Warns of Need For Spending in Emerging Markets

The World Bank said the pace of growth would remain slow without more investment spending

The World Bank has warned that growth in emerging market economies could be being hampered by a sharp decline in investment spending.
Revealing their economic forecasts for 2017, the bank said whilst growth looked set to return to many countries which had been in recession or who's economies had stagnated, the pace of that growth would be extremely slow.The report's lead author, Franzika Ohnsorge, joins us.
From 2026 the World Cup will expand from 32 to 48 teams.
