How hairdressers can help fight domestic violence

There's a very special bond that develops between hairdressers and their clients - all those hours of chatting in the chair, and the years of knowing the same stylist. Now the American state of Illinois is drafting them into the fight against domestic violence. From next year, beauty professionals will be required to undergo training to recognise whether their clients have been victims of domestic abuse.
