Victoria Wood's 'anti-marriage song'
Victoria made millions laugh through her writing, but her humour could also be poignant.
One of her early songs was a melancholy reflection on an unhappy marriage, which she performed for Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Blackburn (now Radio Lancashire) in December 1977.
Victoria - then aged 24 and not yet married - said she hoped the song would not "depress" the programme's presenter Wendy Howard, who was married and pregnant at the time.
