These days our children may spend many of their waking hours wearing headphones, attached to some device or other with music blaring out. To reassure worried parents about the risk to their hearing, plenty of products out there that make claims like "safe for young ears", but according to US website The Wirecutter those claims may not be accurate. Lauren Dragan, the website's headphones editor, told us about her research.
