Vodka made from milk: udderly ridiculous?
Fiona Clampin goes to meet a farmer in west Dorset who is making Vodka from milk. Jason Barber was trying to work out how he could make two pence a litre more on his milk. In Siberia they make vodka from yak's milk, which is what gave him the idea. The curds and whey are separated; the curds go into making cheese and then they extract the milk sugar from the whey, which makes the vodka.
