Herron delighted at academy's cup progress
Reading academy manager Lee Herron says that although he is disappointed by their 2-0 loss to Yeovil, they are satisfied with progressing to the next round.
"We're disappointed with certain aspects of the performance, but happy with other aspects."
"If you'd have spoken to us in August when we entered the competition and said 'listen, you'll qualify', when other academy teams haven't, we would have taken that."
"We're having our young players exposed against seasoned pros. They have to find a way, and we didn't in the final third of the pitch."
"It's a great learning night, you can't replicate that."
