Emma Herriot, the organiser of Miss Great Grimsby and District, talks about why she's looking for young ladies to take part in the competition to be the area's beauty representative in 2017. Neil speaks with Trevor Grayson, vice-chair of the Humberston Happening Committee, putting on their own version of Last Night of the Proms at Humberston this weekend in support of Humberston Park Special School. Nigel Wilson, Technical Director, Local Transport Projects Ltd. A national company based in Beverley in East Yorkshire reviews the papers for the first time. FantastiCon is talking place at Hull's Guildhall, ahead of the opening of the event which sees a visit from the great-grandson of J.R.R. Tolkein, Royd, Neil speaks with the organiser of the event, Dan Grubb and one of the authors taking part, John D. Scotcher. Andy Pexton, Believe in Hull's Communities of Culture co-ordinator, discusses the Freedom X event taking place in Hull. Speakers include the Rt Rev Bishop of Hull, Alison White and Professor John Oldfield from the WISE Institute in Hull. Former woodwork teacher and World War One researcher, Steve Manners, talks about his Theatre of War Travelling Museum and his play, The Wipers Cafe which is being put on at a Hull city centre restaurant this coming Tuesday and Wednesday. It's at 8pm at Kardomah and is free to attend.
