Pirate ship swings for the final time

The popular pirate ship at Wicksteed Park in Kettering has closed down, with 32 competition winners having the last ride.

The park says the ride, which opened in the 1980s, is now "too expensive" to maintain.

It's being replaced by a giant swing ride next year.
