What is the SWP role in Stand Up to Racism?

Looking at the role of the Socialist Workers Party in British politics and campaigns after Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn faced criticism for attending a Stand Up To Racism event at the weekend.

Stand Up To Racism vice-chair Steve Hart, a Labour member, said the SWP was "not a dominant force, they are a participant in Stand Up To Racism".

But the Labour-supporting author and journalist James Bloodworth said Stand Up To Racism was a "front group" for the SWP, which uses its involvement with other groups to recruit members.

Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn explained the SWP had declined to take part in the discussion.
