Mel Banham, head of fundraising for the Lindsey Lodge Hospice talks about a vintage fair and dance in Scunthorpe. This weekend sees the last opening to the public of the historic Cleethorpes Pleasure Island. Neil speaks with owner Melanie Wood about the very final event which marks the theme park's closure. Ruth Getz and Alison Wilson, who describe themselves as 'Singer Uppers' will be reviewing the morning's papers. Their Big Eighties Sing-Up, is happening, Wednesday, November 18th at Union Mash Up on Princes Avenue in Hull. North Lincolnshire based author, Stephen Wade will be talking about his appearance at a family history open day based at the North Lincolnshire Register Office. Neil looks ahead to the launch of Substance as part of next month's Humber Mouth Festival. He also talks to Luke Bainbridge, author, cultural festival organiser and one of the founding editors of the Observer Music Monthly about the event. A new skate plaza is opened at Hull's West Park with a launch event to show off the new facility. Neil discovers how people can 'have-a-go' or for the more experienced a chance to try the new facility out for size. Former Humber pilot and merchant seaman, Tony Porter talks about his latest venture as a part-time tour guide for the historic east riding town of Hedon.
