The US tattoo artist Kat Von D has become a big name in reality television shows and now the cult figure in the world of body ink is promoting her own line of cosmetics.

Kat Von D likes the Hollywood glamour of the 1940s and 1950s and she claims to be influenced by the styles of the composer Beethoven and the French singer Edith Piaf.

She tells us how her fame in the world of body art, with distinctive tattoos, will help to promote her own brand of cosmetics.
