Would stiffer sentences stop teenagers carrying knives?
Official figures show a 13% increase in the number of people caught carrying a knife in the past year - that's more than 27,000 knife offences in 2015, with 188 resulting in death.
Now the Sentencing Council - which produces sentencing guidelines for judges - along with families and friends of knife crime victims, is calling for people who carry knives to face tougher sentences.
