Children Don't Play Outside Anymore - Has Childhood Changed?

The National Trust says children play outside far less than their parents did, but the World Puddle-Jumping Championship is being held at Wicksteed Park.

Children these days play outside far less than their parents did, which means they're losing touch with nature. That's the view of the National Trust, which has commissioned a report into what it calls 'Natural Childhood'. Hundreds of youngsters will be at Wicksteed Park, revelling in the joys of the World Puddle-Jumping Championship
