Whole cycling community feeling Golbarnezhad loss - Barney Storey

Three-time Paralympic cycling champion Barney Storey said "the whole cycling community" is feeling a sense of loss after Iranian para-cyclist Bahman Golbarnezhad died during the men's C4-5 road race at the Rio Paralympics on Saturday.

"It's not just the para-cycling community, the whole cycling community does have that feeling of loss at the moment," Storey told Jonathan Overend.

This was Golbarnezhad's second race at the Rio Paralympics, having finished 14th in the C4 time-trial race on Wednesday.

Golbarnezhad, from the city of Shiraz in southern Iran, also participated in the London 2012 Paralympic Games, having taken up the sport in 2002.
