Chippington on KL1 gold: 'I put so much hard work into this'

Great Britain's Jeanette Chippington reacts after winning Paralympic gold in the KL1 canoe.

Chippington's first Paralympic medal came as a teenager in the backstroke at Seoul 1988.

The 46-year-old said: "I am so proud of myself, I really am and I put so much hard work into this.

"When I was on that start line today I was so fired up for it and I thought 'this is my race, I'm getting this one'"

Chippington has now won 13 Paralympic medals, having won 12 swimming medals between 1988 and 2004.
