Mum thanks Everton for son’s cancer treatment donation

Sunderland AFC’s latest fixture against Everton FC was a remarkable moment for a little boy battling cancer.

Five year-old Bradley Lowery’s parents needed to raise £700,000 to get him to America for treatment that could save his life.

After Sunderland fan Bradley was a mascot at the game, Everton football club donated Β£200,000 to his cause, which helped his parents reach their target.

Bradley's Mum, Gemma Lowery, told Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ 5 live's Peter Allen the family were on 'cloud nine' after reaching the milestone.
