Is the sky the limit for Asky Airlines?
Asky Airlines, the only profitable airline in West Africa, recently started flights to New York. The company's first ever flight took off just six years ago and they already claim to be the fastest growing airline in Africa.
Ethiopian Airlines, which makes more profit than all African carriers put together, holds a 25% share in Asky.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Tamasin Ford caught up with Henok Teferra - Asky's chief executive - in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to talk about the impact of Ebola and oil prices... but began by asking him how the success of Ethiopian Airlines has helped Asky.
