Tory MP Graham Brady and former Labour education secretary Ed Balls debate selective schools, ahead of a government announcement which could see more grammar schools in England.

The chairman of the 1922 Committee of Conservative MPs says the grammar schools on his Trafford patch have "probably the best education outcomes in the country".

But the former Labour MP claimed "Theresa May is making a big mistake here" adding that grammar schools were "bad education policy and bad politics", as it leads to some 11-year-olds being told they were second best.
