An Evening with the Red Baron’s family
On 17th September 1916, 21 year old Tom Rees from Sennybridge was one of the first British pilots to be killed by Manfred von Richthofen, the man who would later be known as the Red Baron, Germany's most famous fighter pilot of the First World War.
Tom’s great niece Dr Meriel Jones will meet the Red Baron’s Family for a toast of reconciliation and to commemorate Tom’s death.
