Britainβs most decorated Olympian Sir Bradley Wiggins says he hopes his success will inspire future generations.
Wiggins became the first Briton to win eight Olympic medals in winning gold in the menβs cycling team pursuit event in Rio.
The 36-year old has won five golds, one silver and two bronzes to surpass fellow cyclist Sir Chris Hoyβs tally of seven.
