'It is a form of emotional and spiritual abuse' Naomi Rowling on growing up with Jehovah’s Witness parents

You can't vote, celebrate Christmas and birthdays, or give blood. On the face of it they just seem to be very dedicated Christians but Jehovah's Witnesses actually differ from church-going Christians in a number of ways. The organisation has a reputation for being very demanding of its followers and Jehovah's Witnesses have been known to shun those who want to leave it. They even have a term for these people, the disfellowed. But can you have a normal childhood if you are growing up with Jehovah's Witness parents?

Naomi Rowling shares her struggle and explains how she was distraught as a child going door to door with her parents because she couldn't get people to listen.
