The final session of the Olympic athletics programme features W High Jump, M Javelin Throw, M 1500m, W 800m, M 5000m, W 4x400m Relay and M 4x400m Relay. Team GB's Mo Farah aims to complete a historic "Double Double" after reclaiming the 10,000m gold he won in London earlier this week. He will be challenged, as ever, by a whole host of top Kenyan and Ethiopian talent, but Farah has won the last four global 5000m titles and does not look in the mood to give up his gold medal.
Other highlights of the programme include the perennially exciting 4x400m relays and the women's 800m final.. Britain are in with a great chance of a medal in the women's relay while Lynsey Sharp looked impressive in qualifying for the final behind overwhelming favourite Caster Semenya.
