Dutch men revealed as world's tallest

A project supported by the World Health Organisation claims to be the largest ever study of global height. It has concluded that the world's tallest men are to be found in the Netherlands, while Latvia is home to the tallest women. Some people, like the Dutch, are getting taller with each passing year, while others, especially in sub-Saharan countries like Sierra Leone, Uganda and Rwanda, are getting shorter. Researchers behind the study say it provides a snapshot of the health of nations over the past century. All of which set our reporter Richard Collings thinking, when it comes to getting on in life, does height matter?
