How to illustrate a top selling children's book
After leaving Art School, Shirley Hughes began her career as a freelance illustrator in London. She began writing and illustrating her own children’s books over 40 years ago, winning many awards. Over seventy books later, including the Dogger and the Alfie series, she is showing no sign of slowing down.
