Hull's colourful 'Pride in Hull', the thrill of the Antiques Roadshow in East Yorkshire and news of Sunday's Hull Race for Life make for plenty of chat with presenter Neil Rudd.
Neil talks to Stephanie Hirst about this year's Pride in Hull parade and street party. The programme of events this year is huge and includes a number of pop star names. There's also an appearance from Hull City fan Sinitta at the event.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Antiques Roadshow comes to the East Riding of Yorkshire on Sunday. Neil finds out how, Burton Constable Hall's been preparing to welcome Fiona Bruce, antiques experts and people clutching their treasured trinkets for a valuation. Curator Kelly Wainwright also has information for those wishing to attend the recording.
North Lincolnshire's museum based in Scunthorpe has an open day and fete today. Amanda White has been to see what the museum has to offer today and beyond today's event.
Hull's Race for Life gets underway in Hull on Sunday and Neil will be asking Katie Mathers from Cancer Research UK why this event proves to be so popular with people in the city.
It's the first full day of the Hull Folk and Maritime festival. Organiser Mark Pollard is on the programme along with some special guests to talk about how the festival will pan out. The festival encompasses everything from learning experiences for new musicians and a floating poetry event.
And, a Battle of Britain of Memorial Flight spitfire is due to fly over Wawne, north of Hull on Saturday afternoon. Neil speaks to the chair of the Wawne Festival committee to find out how they secured the visit of a piece of flying history over the village.
