Leaders of all 28 European Union member states are meeting in Brussels.
Leaders of all 28 European Union member states are meeting in Brussels. Meanwhile Britain's finance minister has warned that tax hikes and spending cuts may be needed to deal with what he called the 'shock' to the UK economy caused by Britain leaving the EU. We discuss whether that's really the case with Jonathan Portes of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research, and Roger Bootle from Capital Economics. Also in the programme, we hear from Greek farmers who are worried trade barriers may mean they'll sell less to the UK in future. The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Samira Hussein in New York brings us the latest in the Volkswagen emissions scandal, as VW agrees a multi-billion dollar settlement. And we go to Iceland, where the nation is celebrating a phenomenal footballing victory over England. Inga Lund Karlsdottir fills us in on the mood.
