Brexit: The view from Germany
Germany's government of Chancellor Angela Merkel is led by a pro-EU party that has tried to steer Europe through the debt crisis in Greece, Ireland, Portugal and others. Rob Young has been talking to Jurgen Hardt, a senior MP in Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union party, and asked if Britain votes to leave the EU, whether Germany would offer the UK some sweeteners, a new deal, to stay. And Alex Ritson sought a response from the pro-Brexit economist, Roger Bootle.
