What does it take to be an engineer?
Three of the world’s greatest engineers give their top tips for those starting in the industry. You will hear, in order: Michel Virlogeux, chief engineer of the Millau Viaduct - the tallest bridge in the world; Ilya Espino de Marotta, chief engineer of the panama canal expansion - one of the biggest engineering projects on the planet and opening June 2016; Bill Baker, the chief engineer of the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world. This was recorded at a special event in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, held in collaboration with the Royal Commission of 1851.
