Inside the slow-growing world of ginseng
China was the first country in the world to discover, cultivate and process ginseng for medical reasons.
Some 70% of the world's ginseng is grown in China's Jilin province.
It can take up to 30 years to grow one plant and can cost up to $250 (Β£175) to buy.
