Does Labour have an Englishness problem?

A collection of essays penned by Labour MPs, and less successful candidates from the last general election, looks at the party's issues over being English.

Former shadow cabinet minister Tristram Hunt said there were "fears over a cultural disconnect with Englishness" as there were more people seeing themselves as English, rather than British.

The MP spoke to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, and guest Bonnie Greer, after they looked at some comments from Labour figures in the essays.
