Should we be eating more fat?

The National Obesity Forum has suggested that eating fat could help cut obesity and type 2 diabetes.

The charity says that promoting low fat foods has led to "disastrous health consequences" and is calling for a major overhaul of current dietary guidelines.

But Public Health England have strongly criticised the claims and called the advice β€œirresponsible".
