Ella Al-Shamahi is a paleoanthropologist and Neanderthal expert, who is also a stand-up comedian. Ella specialises in cave digs in hostile environments. She was planning her own excavation project to Yemen last year, but a few days before she arrived, war broke out. Matthew Bannister asked her about her own background, because her parents are themselves from Yemen.
