Newquay favourite for UK space centre site

A Cornish resort could become the UK's first commercial spaceport. It's being reported to be the favourite of six sites to be named in the Modern Transport Bill which will be outlined in the Queen's Speech on Wednesday.

Dr Robert Massey from the Royal Astronomical Society, said it was "not the ideal location" being so far from the equator, and there were doubts about the commercial market for it.

Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn asked him - and guests Charles Clarke and Lord Lamont - about the possible effects on tourism, and the risks of disturbing Newquay's surfers.
