Funding call on Syrian child refugees
David Cameron has said the government will talk to local councils about what more can be done to help unaccompanied Syrian refugee children.
The prime minister is under pressure to accept 3,000 child refugees who have made it into Europe unaccompanied.
David Simmonds, chairman of the Local Government Association's asylum, refugee and migration task group, told The World At One that the funding must to be in place.
