Mandelik Reunion – a Family lost and found
For many of the Mandeliks, this family reunion in Czechoslovakia was also a first meeting
The Jewish Mandelik family left Czechoslovakia to escape Nazi persecution. Recently, more than 30 Mandelik descendants gathered in Prague. It was to have a profound effect: "This huge family, that was my family that I never knew but always wanted … it was as if they were always there and we were always waiting for each other."
Judi Herman accompanied the family as they came face to face with each other and their shared past.
