America's Cup World Series Volunteer programme hailed a success

Organisers of the America's Cup World Series in Portsmouth are looking for 250 Wavemaker volunteers to help run the event in July.

The four day event will once again take place in the Solent and will feature Portsmouth-based Olympic champion Sir Ben Ainslie's team as well as five international competitors.

2015 was the first time that America's Cup racing took place in the Solent since 1851. More than a quarter of a million spectators watched from both on land and sea.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's Neil Sackley was at the launch of the volunteer programme and spoke to event director Lesley Greenhaugh.
