California and Britain hike minimum wage
California to raise minimum wage to $15 an hour; Britain raises own minimum wage by 7.5%.
California is to become the first US state to raise its minimum wage to $15 an hour, after a proposal passed both houses of the state legislature. The move comes as Britain raises its minimum wage by 7.5% - way above inflation. We get analysis from Professor Alan Manning of the London School of Economics.
