Peer on child refugees: We owe them safety

Lord Dubs wants the UK to take in 3,000 child refugees, and is moving an amendment in the House of Lords on Monday.

The Labour peer said he was one of 10,000 child refugees who came to the UK in 1939, and said children today were at risk of people traffickers, criminality and prostitution.

He was speaking to Daily Politics presenter Jo Coburn, along with Labour MP Chuka Umunna and Conservative MP David Davis, about the UK's role in taking in migrants and refugees trying to get to Europe.
